If you haven’t experienced the power of automating some of your business task in your real estate investing, you are making it too hard on yourself! One of the first ’systems’ I started to use in my first month of real estate investing was an answering service to qualify your leads. PatLive was the service I used and it saves you valuable time as you provide them a script of exactly what you want the live call person to ask the motivated seller or buyer.

By using a service like Patlive (and there are others and I know of one person who outsourced his live answering service to the Philippines) you first don’t ‘lose’ a prospect by either missing the call or as happened to my in my first week of sending postcards out…you are overwhelmed with the calls coming in and sometimes not prepared to answer the phone all day long when you have other aspects of your real estate business to focus on!

Additionally, it gives the potential seller or buyer a very professional impression of your real estate investing business when a live person answers the phone. Can you imagine how a motivated seller may feel after receiving a bunch of postcards in the mail from various real estate investors, and after calling 10 phone numbers from 10 postcards, getting a voicemail..and then they get your live answering professional representative on the phone?
